2. The claim of the learned counsel for the petitioner in the present writ petition is that the petitioner had shown exemplary courage in some Naxalite Expultion on 10.05.2018 and has eliminated one Naxalite Akshay @ Raju Maravi, on whose head, the award was announced by the State. It is stated that as per the Police Regulations the petitioner, since has shown exemplary courage, is entitled for out of

turn promotion. It is also stated by learned counsel for the petitioner that since, the petitioner is entitled for out of turn promotion, accordingly, has given an application to the Superintendent of Police, Rajnandgaon be considered positively.

3. Considering the nature of the prayer made and the perusal of Annexure P/1, the petitioner's application may be considered for out of turn promotion. The said consideration would be subject to the Regulations and Rules of the Police so permits and direction by the State in subject matter. Therefore, the representation of the petitioner (Annexure P/1) may be decided in accordance with the existing procedures/ Regulations and Rules and existing directions of the State, in accordance with law. The decision on the application may be carried out within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the aforesaid observations/ directions, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
