Hon'ble Shri Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava Order On Board 20/12/2016 Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners land have been subjected to acquisition by the NTPC, but employment in lieu of the land acquired has not been provided to the petitioners. He would further submit that the petitioners have made a representation, which has not been considered and decided by respondent No.1.

Be that as it may, respondent No.1 is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners regarding employment in accordance with law preferably within 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order along with fresh representation. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case.
