Proceeding Through Video Conferencing Hon'ble Shri Prashant Kumar Mishra, Ag CJ Order On Board /08/2021 :

1. The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.32/2021 registered in Police Station Dhaurpur, District Surguja for offence under Section 147, 148, 149, 506, 323, 307 of the IPC.

2. On account of sending messages to Arun Yadav from the FaceBook id of injured Pravin Yadav, a dispute arose whereafter all the 7 accused persons reached the place of occurrence and started assaulting Arjun @ Raja Gupta and Pravin Yadav, causing head injury to Arjun @ Raja Gupta and simple injury to Pravin Yadav.

3. Admittedly, 5 co-accused persons have been released on anticipatory bail in MCRCA No.718/2021. The role assigned to this applicant is more or less similar.

4. Therefore, considering that the applicant is in jail since 26.3.2021 and charge sheet has already been filed, I am inclined to release the applicant on bail.

5. Accordingly, the application is allowed and the applicant is directed to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. He is directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
