1. In view of the statement made in the return that the decision has been taken in favour of the petitioners to grant consequential benefits, learned counsel for the petitioners does not wish to further pursue the matter at this stage. However, there is a prayer that the decision taken may be brought to the its logical conclusion at the earliest.

2. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that as the decision has been taken,

-2respondent authority shall take all expeditious steps to ensure that the petitioners get necessary benefits at the earliest.
