1. The limited grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is the prolonged period of suspension that petitioner has remained with.

2. According to the petitioner he has been under suspension since 02.07.2019 as such he has remained under suspension for almost two years now. According to the petitioner meanwhile the department had also subjected the petitioner to enquiry and in the enquiry also the Enquiry

-2Officer has not found the petitioner to have been committed any misconduct or involved in any of the charges levelled against him. Moreover, counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent no.4 also have recently recommended the case of the petitioner to respondent no.2 & to respondent no.3 to consider revocation of suspension. However, there has been no further development.

3. Given the said submissions and facts as it stands, particularly taking note of the fact that petitioner stands suspended for almost two years now, let respondent no.2 take appropriate decision in the light of the recommendations made by respondent no.4 at the earliest preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
