Agrawal Order On Board 08/05/2017 (1) Learned counsel appearing for the State/respondents would submit that against the impugned order dated 05.08.2016, the revision would lie before the Court of Sessions under Section 47(c) of Chhattisgarh Excise Act.

(2) At this stage, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that he may be permitted to prefer a revision before the Court of Sessions within a period of 30 days from today. (3) Prayer appears to be fair and reasonable.

(4) The petitioner is permitted to prefer a revision before the Court of Sessions. If such revision is filed by the petitioner within a period of 30 days from today and, in turn, the Court of Sessions shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of revision of the petitioner.

(5) With the aforesaid observation, the petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
