1. This is first bail application filed u/s 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The applicant has been arrested in connection with Crime No. 483/2017 registered at police station- Surajpur, District- Surajpur (C.G.) on the allegation of having committed offence under section 489-A, 489-C & 489D of IPC.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the applicant is possessed of counterfeit currency.

3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that in the present case the investigation is complete and the charge-sheet has been filed. It is also submitted that co-accused Bhupendra Vishwarkarma has already been granted bail by this Court in MCRC No. 1031/2018, therefore, the applicant may also be granted bail.

4. On the other hand, learned State counsel opposes the bail application and submits that looking to the recovery of

counterfeit currency from the possession of the applicant, the applicant may not be granted bail.

5. Taking into consideration the submission of the learned counsel for the parties perusing the case diary and also taking into consideration that Bhupendra Vishwakarma appears to be similarly situated accused under the same crime number has been granted bail by this court in MCRC No. 1031 of 2018, this application is also allowed.

6. Accordingly, it is directed that the applicant shall be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of the trial court for his appearance before the said court as and when directed.
