1. The grievance of the petitioner is in respect of non-granting of the death-cum-retiral dues payable to the petitioner on the death of the husband of the petitioner, who died while in service on 19.01.2017.
2. The record shows that the case of the petitioner is still under process as is reflected from the letter dated 15.03.2018 issued by the Chief Executive Officer, Bijapur, addressed to the Deputy Director, Social Welfare, South Bastar, District Dantewada, Chhattisgarh.
3. Given the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to keep the petition pending rather ends of justice would meet if a direction is given to the respondent No.1 as well as the
respondent No.5 to ensure that the death-cum-retiral dues payable to the petitioner on the death of deceased employee is settled forthwith as early as possible preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
