Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners would submit that on the petitioners land road has already been constructed in the year 2012 and the compensation has been assessed by the respondent authorities on 26.04.2017 i.e. after a lapse of five years for which the petitioners have given their consent on 16.05.2017, but till date neither compensation has been paid nor rehabilitation has been provided to them and, therefore, directions may be issued to decide the same expeditiously. 2.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners. 3.

Be that as it may, the Collector, Rajnandgaon is directed to consider and dispose of the proceedings expeditiously preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. However, the petitioners would be at liberty to make an additional representation to the Collector, Rajnandgaon for the redressal of their grievances, if any. 4.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petitions stand finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
