1. The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.84/2021 registered in Police Station: Komakhan District Mahasamund for offence under Section 34 (2) of the CG Excise Act.
2. Although 20 bulk liters of country made liquor has been recovered from the applicant, but considering that the applicant has 9 previous criminal antecedents, out of which 7 are relating to excise matters and in four of them, he has been acquitted, however, still 3 cases are pending trial against him and yet he has involved himself in committing similar nature of crime, I am not inclined to release the applicant on bail at this stage. Accordingly, the application is rejected reserving liberty in favour of the applicant to revive the prayer at an appropriate stage.
