Agrawal Order On Board 02/11/2017 (1) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the Gram Sabha has passed a resolution on 24.08.2005, filed as Annexure P/1 to reinstate the petitioner on the post of Panchayat Secretary of Gram Panchayat, Deopura (Gandai), but the Deputy Director, Panchayat & Social Welfare Department, Rajnandgaon has not accepted the order passed by Gram Sabha till this date and, therefore, direction may be issued to the said authority to decide the same expeditiously.

(2) Be that as it may, Deputy Director, Panchayat and Social Welfare Department, Rajnandgaon is directed to consider and

take a decision on the petitioner's case, which is decided by Gram Sabha on 24.08.2005, on its own merits without any prejudice, expeditiously preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. (3) With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of . No order as to costs.
