Challenge in the present writ petition was the order of transfer dated 30.07.2016 transferring the petitioner from Range Assistant Mahabirganj, Forest Division, Balrampur to Narangi Range South Kondagaon, Forest Division.

The records show that the petitioner had an interim order in his favour on 14.09.2016 and by virtue of interim protection, he is continuing to work

at the same place. By efflux time, the writ petition has become infructuous and it is ordered that the respondents authorities shall not give effect to the impugned order so far as petitioner is concerned. However, they shall be at liberty to pass a fresh order of transfer on administrative exigency, if need so arises.
