The petitioner's grievance at this stage is that various claims for payment of allowance towards travelling have remained pending without any decision by the Department.

Learned State counsel would submit if such claims have not already been decided, shall be decided by the competent authority within a reasonable time.

In view of the above, at this stage, I am inclined to dispose off the matter with direction to respondent No. 2 to decide the petitioner's claim
within a period of 12 weeks. It is made clear that direction upon issued to respondent No. 2 in view of the statements made by learned counsel for the petitioner that respondent No. 2 is competent authority to decided the matter.
