1. The present MCC has been filed by Applicants seeking for extension of time for compliance of the Order dated 7.1.2021 passed by this Court in WPS No.56/2016.

2. This Court, while disposing of the aforesaid Writ Petition, had granted four months' time to Respondents to comply with the order which was for considering the claim of Petitioner for employment in terms of the rehabilitation policy governing the field.

3. Learned Counsel for Applicant-SECL submits that they have already taken steps for compliance of the order and the matter is in process, however, because of administrative reasons and also because of the impact of Covid-19 pandemic, the full compliance of the order could not be done. Learned Counsel for Applicant-SECL therefore prays for a short extension of time so that necessary compliance of the order may be done at the earliest.

4. Shri Uttam Pandey, learned Counsel for Non-applicant No.4/Petitioner, expresses his no objection on the prayer made by Applicants.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, particularly taking note of the grounds reflected for the delay caused, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the Applicants are granted a further period of 60 days starting from today for compliance of the order of this Court in its letter and spirit.

6. It is expected that Applicants shall take all endeavors in getting the order of this Court complied within the said extended period of 60 days.

7. Let a copy of this order be made a part of the record of WPS No.56/2016.
