Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner would submit that the petitioner, at the relevant point of time, was working as Subedar-M (Head Clerk) but has not been paid the salary from the month of June 2003 to October 2005 despite the order passed by respondent No. 3Superintendent of Police, Surajpur on 26.11.2005. 2.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State would submit that the petitioner remained unauthorizedly absent from duty from the month of June 2003 to June 2005 and hence he is not entitled for salary for the said period.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties.

Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to make a representation before the respondent No. 3 within three weeks' from today and, in that event, the respondent No. 3 is directed to consider and decide the petitioner's representation expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
