1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner had participated in naxam operation which occurred on 28/08/2014 same as respondents No. 6 to 10, but they have been given out of turn promotion whereas the petitioner has not been given such promotion and his representation is pending consideration before respondent No. 2 that may be directed to be decided.

2. Having heard learned counsel for the parties, since petitioner's representation is already pending consideration before respondent No. 2 claiming out of turn promotion, respondent No. 2 is directed to

consider petitioner's representation strictly in accordance with law and decide it by passing a reasoned and speaking order within 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Petitioner is at liberty to make additional representation and/or cite any judgments in support of his claim for out of turn promotion.

3. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No cost(s).
