This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 19.02.2016 passed by this Court in WPC No.21 of 2016, by which, a direction was issued to provide adequate security in case the petitioner makes specific complaint to respondent No.3 in the Writ Petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after the interim order was passed on 19.02.2016 in the Writ Petition, he was provided adequate security. However, later on, security has been withdrawn. He has submitted a letter also before the Director General of Police. 3.

On 19.02.2016, this Court had directed respondent No.2 and 3 in the writ petition to provide adequate security in case petitioner makes specific complaint to respondent No.3. Therefore, if security was provided to the petitioner, it ought to continue. In case, the respondents have material that the threat to the security of petitioner is longer exist, the same could be withdrawn but with the permission of the Court, because the interim order is still continuing and writ petition is also pending.

Let a copy of this order be placed before the respondent No.2-Director General of Police for taking necessary steps towards compliance of the order of this Court dated 19.02.2016. If necessary steps are not taken, the petitioner may revive the contempt petition.
