Sam Koshy Order On Board 03/05/2018 The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that his claim for grant of compassionate appointment is pending consideration before the respondents and till date the same has not been decided.

It is a case where the petitioner's father namely Kanhaiya Lal died in harness on 26.07.2012 and thereafter, the petitioner made a representation for grant of compassionate appointment to the respondents which till date has not been decided. 3.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the writ petition is

disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment to the petitioner in accordance with the scheme of compassionate appointment applicable in the department.
