The accused/applicant has moved this third bail application under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for release him on regular bail during trial in connection with Crime No.107/2018, registered at Police Station-Pandariya, District-Kabirdham (CG), for the offence punishable under Section 20-B of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, 1985.

Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that the present applicants were found in possession of 40 kg. of contraband article ganja unauthorizedly and without authority of law and thereby committed the aforesaid offence.

Report sent by the Special Judge (NDPS)/Additional Sessions Judge (F.T.C.), Kabirdham has been received in which it has been informed
that the case is fixed for final argument on 23.7.2020. 5.
In view of that, learned counsel for the applicant would submit that he does not want to press this bail application on merits and the trial Court be directed to conclude the trial within one month. 6.
Since all the witnesses have been examined and the case is fixed for final argument on 23.7.2020, the trial Court would do well to conclude the trial within one month from today.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the third bail application finally stands disposed of.
