The petitioner, who is a government servant, had undergone surgical procedure in connection with which, she claims to have incurred expenses. Claim of medical allowances towards expenditure incurred in the operation has been raised by the petitioner.

Prima facie, in view of the correspondence made by the District Education Officer with the Director, Public Instructions, which have been placed on record, the petitioner's claim does not appear to be frivolous. 4.

In view of above, it is ordered that the respondent No.4-Director, Public

Instructions shall consider the petitioner's claim in accordance with the provisions contained in Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Medical Attendance) Rules, 2013 and take decision thereon within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
