This petition is filed by the petitioner seeking compassionate appointment. Petitioner's representation was rejected vide order dated 22/04/2010 on the ground that she being a married daughter is not entitled for appointment on compassionate basis.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue as to whether married daughter is entitled for appointment on compassionate basis has been decided by this Court in Writ Petition (S) No.296 of 2014 (Smt. Sarojni Bhoi v. State of Chhattisgarh and others on 30/11/2015, thereafter, the State Government issued afresh circular dated 22/03/2016

inviting applications for grant of appointment on compassionate basis to the dependents of the deceased. The petitioner submitted her application on 01/06/2016, which has remained pending consideration. 3.

In view of the above, the application of the petitioner for grant of appointment on compassionate basis requires consideration and appropriate decision in accordance with policy dated 22/03/2016 be taken within a maximum period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
