This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 31.07.2013 passed by this Court in WP(S) No.2263 of 2013, by which, various grievance with regard to his service benefits including promotion, increments etc. 2.

Though, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has been granted various benefits vide order dated 13.12.2013 and thereafter another order dated 27.05.2020, it is highlighted that entire benefits, for which, the petitioner is entitled to him under the law, has not been granted. 3.

This Court finds that after the directions were issued on 31.07.2013 in WP(S) No.2263/2013 filed by the petitioner, the petitioner was made permanent vide order dated 13.12.2013 and after conclusion of departmental enquiry, he was granted promotion vide order dated 27.05.2020. 4.

In the order dated 31.07.2013, there was no adjudication on merits but it was only a direction to consider petitioner's representation, therefore, no contempt can be said to be made out.

Therefore, the contempt petition is dismissed, however, reserving liberty to the petitioner to take recourse to appropriate remedy available to him under the law, if he considers that his grievance is not fully redressed. Sd/- (Manindra Mohan Shrivastava) Judge Ravi
