1. The present MCC has been filed by Applicants seeking for extension of time for compliance of the Order dated 9.3.2021 passed by this Court in WPS No.1009/2021.

2. While disposing of the aforesaid Writ Petition, the direction of this Court was to reconsider the points as to whether the Petitioner's suspension has been revoked in the light of the judgment rendered by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case "Ajay Kumar Choudhary Vs. Union of India & Ors.", 2015 (7) SSC 291, or not.

3. Learned Counsel for Applicants/Bank submits that they have already referred the matter to the Committee, but because of lockdown situation that was prevailing for a considerable period of time, no administrative work could be taken, particularly in this regard, during the said period and therefore prays for a short adjournment for due compliance of the order passed by this Court.

4. Given the said facts and circumstances of the case, particularly taking note of the lockdown situation that was prevailing, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the Applicants are granted a further 45 days' time for compliance of the order passed by this Court and it is accordingly ordered.

5. It is expected that Applicants shall take positive steps for due compliance of the order of this Court within the said period of 45 days.

6. Let a copy of this order be made a part of the record of WPS No.1009/2021.
