1. Mr.Prakash Tiwari, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that pursuant to the order passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.6206/2014 the petitioner's representation has been rejected by order dated 11.1.2016 (Annexure P-1) and thereafter during pendency of this writ petition, he has been granted promotion on the post of Assistant Revenue Inspector on 28.12.2016, whereas he

ought to have been promoted w.e.f. 16.7.1997, for which he may be allowed to make a representation in the light of Rule 10 of the Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation (Appointment and Conditions of Service of Officers and Servants) Rules, 2007.

2. Mr.A.S.Kachhawaha, learned counsel for respondent No.2, would submit that if such a representation is made, that will be considered by respondent No.2 in accordance with law.

3. Be that as it may, the petitioner is allowed to make a representation to respondent No.2. If such a representation is made within 3 weeks from today, respondent No.2 shall consider and decide the same strictly in accordance with law within 30 days from its receipt.

4. With the aforesaid observation / direction, the writ petition finally stands disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
