1. Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties.

2. This writ appeal is directed against the order dated 31.05.2017 passed by the learned Single Judge, whereby, the writ petition filed by the petitioner, assailing his transfer order amending earlier posting order upon promotion, was disposed off with a direction to consider petitioner's representation.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the appellant submits that the

amendment had taken place after a long time.

4. Having considered the matter and it being a transfer matter and there is no allegation of mala fide exercise of power, we are not inclined to entertain this writ appeal invoking appellate jurisdiction.

5. We consider that the order passed by the learned Single Judge meets the end of justice because consideration of petitioner's representation has been ordered by the learned Single Judge. We do not think that more than this was required to be granted in the facts and circumstances of the present case.

6. Writ Appeal is accordingly dismissed.
