1. Aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondents in not finalizing the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment the present writ petition has been filed.

2. According to the petitioner, his father late Sukhi Ram Yadav working under the respondent no.4 died in harness on 08.09.2020. Thereafter, the petitioner has been pursuing with the respondents seeking for

compassionate appointment and except for the frequent interdepartmental correspondence, no final decision till date has been taken by the authorities concerned.

3. Given the fact that the claim application of the petitioner till date has not been finalized, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondents 2 & 3 to take an appropriate decision on the application for compassionate appointment moved by the petitioner in accordance with the policy and regulations governing the field at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
