The limited grievance that the petitioner has raised in this petition is that her Husband working as Assistant Grade-III under the respondents died in harness on 20.02.2016, however though more than three years have lapsed, she has not received any death-cum-retiral dues that she is entitled for including pension and pensionary benefits. Therefore, she has filed this petition for an appropriate direction to the respondents to take early decision on the claim of the petitioner. 2.

Considering the limited dispute that the petitioner had in the present writ petition, this court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 to take a decision on the claim of the petitioner for release of death-cum-retiral dues and also pension and pensionary benefits which the petitioner would be entitled for on account of death of her Husband.

Let the respondent No.2 take a decision in this regard at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
