1. The grievance of the petitioner is two fold. Firstly, the inaction on the part of the respondents in not granting third time pay scale to the petitioner on completion of 30 years of service.

2. According to the petitioner in terms of the circular of the State Government dated 08.08.2018 the petitioner becomes entitled for the third time pay scale. The petitioner already has got first and second time pay scale. Therefore he becomes also entitled for third time pay scale and he fulfills the eligibility criteria under the said circular.

3. Given the said grievance that the petitioner has, let respondents take appropriate decision and consider granting of third time pay scale payable to the petitioner in accordance with the circulars of the State Government dated 08.08.2018.

-2Let appropriate decision be taken at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

As regards, the second relief that the petitioner raises, that is in respect of promotion of the petitioner, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of reserving the right of the petitioner to prefer suitable representation before the authorities concerned for ventilating his grievances so far as promotion and promotional avenues are concerned.
