1. The petitioner has filed this petition seeking a direction to respondents to decide his representation against exclusion of his name from the voter list.
2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that on the basis of an illegal voter list without due consideration of petitioner's representation, election of Members of the Cooperative Society, Nagoi, has already taken place on 25.6.2017 and the respondents would be proceeding to hold election for the Board of Directors of the Society.
3. The petitioner has an alternative remedy of filing dispute under Section 64 of the Chhattisgarh Cooperative Societies Act, 1960. Therefore, in these circumstances, the issue with regard to legality, illegality, inclusion and
-2exclusion in the voter list can well be raised by the petitioner by filing a dispute before the competent authority under Section 64 of the Cooperative Societies Act.
4. The petition is therefore dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to take recourse to alternative remedy.
