Hon'ble Shri Justice Rajendra Chandra Singh Samant Order on Board 16/06/2021

1. A request letter has been received from the Court of Additional Sessions Judge/F.T.S.C. (under POCSO Act), Ambikapur, District- Surguja, C.G. praying for extension of time granted by this Court to conclude the trial in Special Criminal Case under POCSO Act No.06/2020.

2. This Court had while disposing off M.Cr.C. No.7647/2020 on 12.01.2021 directed the trial Court to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of two months as the trial could not be concluded in the time given. Therefore, on further request, vide order dated 24.03.2021 in Cr.M.P. No.336/2021, a further extension of two months' time was granted.

3. Considered on the reasons, which are mentioned in the request letter and being convinced by the grounds mentioned therein, I feel inclined to

-2allow the request. The petition is disposed off.

4. The learned trial Court is further granted a period of two months to conclude the trial in the case mentioned hereinabove.
