2. This is an application filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the applicant, who has been arrested in connection with Crime No.500/2021 registered at Police Station Civil Line, District Bilaspur (CG) for the offence punishable under Section 307 of the IPC.

3. Injured Sabia Begum was married with the applicant on 10.4.2018. On some dispute in the family, the applicant and the injured started residing separate in a rented accommodation.

MCRC No. 4006 of 2021 On the date of the incident, the applicant poured spirit like liquid over the person of the injured and set her on fire. As per the statement of the injured, the applicant and his parents were subjecting her to cruelty on demand of dowry.

4. Considering the entire facts situation of the case, no case for grant of bail is made out at this stage.

5. Accordingly, the bail application is dismissed. However, the applicant is granted liberty to revive the prayer after examination of the injured.
