Petitioner's grievance, as ventilated through this petition is that even though anomaly with regard to grade pay, which has been brought to the notice of the Government by the Dean with recommendation of the Director, Medical Education, decision has not been taken in the matter.

I have gone through the records. I find that the Dean and Director, Medical Education, both have made recommendations to the Government that the grade pay for senior residents is Rs.6600/-. Considering that the petitioners are rendering services in tribal area, they are entitled to consideration of their monetary claims.

Learned Deputy Advocate General assures that the Government will look into the matter and decide petitioner's grievance at the earliest. 4.

In view of statement made by learned State counsel, at this stage, this petition is disposed off with a direction that the State may take appropriate decision on petitioner's claim within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
