2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the father of the petitioner Late Shri Purushottam Sahu, who was working as Electric

Helper (Category-2) at Coal Mining Colliery of Baroud Sub-area (Raigarh Area) in South Eastern Coal Field Limited, died in harness on 22.08.2019, therefore, the petitioner has filed an application to the respondents authorities so that his case for compassionate appointment may be considered. The limited prayer has been made by the petitioner is that he being the dependent, the employment may be given to him as no other objection has been made by the family members of the petitioner i.e. respondents No. 5, 6 & 7(Sister, Brother & Mother).

The respondents' counsel, on the other hand, submits that the petitioner is required to fill up the required form, the affidavit and other relevant necessary documents so that his claim for compassionate appointment can be considered. In the given set of facts, the petitioner may approach to the respondent authorities who will, in turn, provide him the application form, thereafter the petitioner may submit the application form along with requisite necessary documents for compassionate appointment.

Looking to the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the petitioner shall approach the respondents' authority within a period of three weeks and the respondents' authority, in turn, shall provide him the necessary application form for consideration of his compassionate appointment. The petitioner, thereafter, may do so as early as possible.
