1. Both the appeals, arising from the same judgment of conviction and order of sentence, have been filed by Premsai Lakda. CRA No.637 of 2021 has been filed through legal aid on 01.06.2021 whereas the other CRA No.640 of 2021 has been filed through a private counsel on 11.06.2021.

2. As there is already an appeal filed by the appellant, subsequent appeal against the same judgment is not maintainable.

3. CRA No. 640 of 2021 is accordingly disposed off with the observation that the appeal of Premsai Lakda shall be heard in CRA No.637 of 2021.

4. Mr. Sanjay Agrawal, Advocate is permitted to argue on behalf of the appellant in CRA No.637 of 2021 along with the counsel engaged through legal aid.

5. CRA No.637 of 2021 is admitted for hearing.

6. Call for records.

7. Learned State counsel takes notice and may file objection/reply on application for suspension of sentence and grant of bail within three weeks.

8. The Registry to prepare paper book as per rules, upon receipt of records.
