1. The present writ petition has been alleging non-compliance of the order dated 11.12.2018 passed in WPS No. 5980 of 2018.

2. Today, the matter has been taken at the request of the counsel for the parties, wherein the contemnor herein has passed the order Annexure C-7. The contemnor has produced the documents Annexure C-7 passed by the District Treasury Officer, Korba vide his order dated 17.09.2020 has informed that the pensionary benefits of the petitioner can be released, subject to the deposit of requisite amount by the petitioner and the District Treasury Officer has also mentioned/ called upon the petitioner to fulfill certain requirement before pensionary benefits can be released to the petitioner.

3. The counsel for the respondents submits that from the aforesaid documents, it clearly reflects that the role to be played so far as the

respondent is concerned has been complied with by the respondent/ Director of the department.

4. Given the said facts, the contempt petition stands disposed off; so far as the respondent is concerned. However, the liberty is reserved for the petitioner to avail other appropriate remedies open to him pursuant to the correspondence made by the District Treasury Officer.

5. With the aforesaid direction, the present contempt petition stands disposed off.
