1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present case is that since the petitioner had retired on 31.07.2015, he has not been paid the entire dues payable under the GPF account.

2. According to the petitioner, the department has deducted a substantial amount from the GPF account alleging periodical withdrawals made by the petitioner. Counsel for the petitioner submits that he has specific instructions in this regard from the petitioner that, the petitioner had never made any withdrawal from the GPF account and perhaps it appears that there is some fake withdrawals made from the GPF account of the petitioner, which needs to be inquired. It is further contended by the petitioner that the petitioner had also made repeated

representations and legal notices were issued, which have not been considered by the authorities in this regard and therefore, prays for a limited direction that the respondents should verify the GPF account of the petitioner and may tally it with the account maintained in the office of Accountant General and after due verification of the account, an appropriate order be passed in this regard and if any payment is to be made, the same may be paid forthwith.

3. Considering the grievance of the petitioner let the case of the petitioner be placed before the High Power Committee constituted by the State Government for settling the grievances in respect of grant of retiral dues are concerned.

4. It is directed that the committee shall positively also look into the aspect of the allegation made by the petitioner so far as fake withdrawal being made from the GPF account of the petitioner.

5. All necessary assistance should be provided by the respondent-State Government, so also from the office of the Accountant General to verify and inquire in respect of the grievance raised by the petitioner in this regard, if required let the committee also order for an enquiry so far as the allegation of fake enquiry is concerned.

6. Let the case of the petitioner be referred before the High Power Committee, who in turn may take a decision within a period of 90 days from the date of reference being received by the committee.
