(1) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that petitioner's husband died in harness on 19.09.2015 and he has made an application for appointment on compassionate ground on 19.10.2015 before the competent authority and as the same has not been considered & decided in accordance with law by the competent authority, a direction may be issued to respondent No. 3 to decide the petitioner's application expeditiously.

(2) Prayer appears to be fair & reasonable.

(3) Be that as it may, respondent No. 3 is directed to consider and pass appropriate orders on application of the petitioner for compassionate appointment in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

(4) With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.
