Grievance of the Petitioner is that against the order of punishment dated 8.4.2016 he had preferred an appeal before Respondent No.1 on 24.5.2016, but till date though two years have passed the appeal of the Petitioner has not been decided.

Given the facts and circumstances of the case, ends of justice would meet if the writ petition itself is disposed of with a direction to Respondent No.1 to decide the appeal of the Petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of service of certified copy of this order. 3.

It shall be the responsibility of the Petitioner to place the certified copy of this order before the concerned authorities. 4.

With the aforesaid direction/observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.
