The present writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner seeking for a direction from the Respondents for release of the GPF amount along with cost.

Counsel for the State refers to Annexure R-6, dated 30.11.2006, which is a document whereby it has been shown that the said GPF amount of the Petitioner has been released to him way back in the year 2006 itself. The amount lying with the GPF otherwise also carries interest. 3.
Since the grievance of the Petitioner has been redressed as early as in the year 2006, nothing further remains to be adjudicated upon in the present writ petition.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of as having become infructuous. In case, there is any further dispute exists, the Petitioner would be at liberty to approach the Respondents by moving appropriate application with all relevant documents in support of his claim, if any.
