After arguing for sometime, the counsel for the petitioner prays that the matter be disposed of directing the respondents to consider and decide the representation on its own merits in accordance with law.

The State counsel does not oppose to the limited prayer, however he submits that the decision shall be taken purely in accordance with policy governing the field of compassionate appointment. 3.

Under the circumstances, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the respondents No. 3 to 5 to take an appropriate decision

strictly in accordance with policy of compassionate appointment governing the field at the earliest preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. 4.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
