The transfer order is under challenge only on the short ground that the petitioner is going to retire on 06.02.2017. Learned counsel for the petitioner brings to the notice of this Court the transfer policy clause 2.10 which provides that the Government servant, who are going to retire within one year, may be posted in their home district or a place of their choice if permissible under the general book circular instructions. 2.

It is, however, found that the petitioner has filed this petition without preferring any representation to the authorities. In thus view of

the matter, all that can be done at this stage is to direct that in case the petitioner prefers representation within a period of ten days from today, respondent No.1 shall consider his representation within a period of three weeks. For a period of four weeks, coercive steps shall not be taken against the petitioner.

The petition is accordingly disposed off.
