1. The petitioner has challenged the transfer order on the sole ground that the petitioner is going to retire on 29.5.2017 and as per the Govt. policy dated 11.6.2016, a Govt. employee who is going to retire within a period of one year, is either to be posted in his home district or at a place of his option.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has preferred representation to the State Govt. However, copy of the representation is not on record.
3. In view of the above, it is directed that if the petitioner prefers a fresh
-2representation within a period of 10 days to respondent No.1, the same shall be decided within a period of 3 weeks in accordance with the Govt. own policy referred to above. For a period of 4 weeks, if no one has joined at the place of the petitioner, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner.
