The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.16/2018 registered in Police Station SHO, GRP, Raigarh, Distt. Raigarh for offence punishable under sections 25, 27 (wrongly mention 26 in order sheet) of Arms Act. 2.

As per the prosecution case, on 15/04/2018 during search in platform No.2 and 3, Raigarh the applicant was caught with the desi revolver. Thereby, offence was committed.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is in jail since 19/04/2018, charge sheet has been filed, therefore no further investigation would be necessary and the applicant may be released on bail.

Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail. 5.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, applicant is in jail since 19/04/2018, charge sheet has been filed, no further investigation would be necessary, therefore this court is inclined to release the applicant on bail.

Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and it is directed that the applicant shall be released on his furnishing personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of concerned trial court for his regular appearance before it as and when directed.
