1. The petitioner has filed the writ petition being aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondents in not taking an appropriate decision on the objection/representation that the petitioner has preferred in respect of disqualification of the petitioner as a candidate for the post of Angan Badi Worker at Village Bharada, Tahsil Berla, District Bemetara.

2. Perusal of the proceedings would show that the candidature of the petitioner has already been declared to be disqualified by the respondents as would be evident from the chart (Annexure P-3) which has been prepared by the respondents in respect of all the candidates who had applied and the petitioner has been disqualified on the ground of non-production of cogent documents to establish that she is a local resident. The said Annexure P-3 is a document which was published as early as on 28.04.2020.

3. Without entering into the merits of the case so far as the entitlement of the petitioner is concerned, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the authorities concerned to consider and decide the representation/objection, if any, that the petitioner has preferred. The authorities concerned are expected to take a decision at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case the petitioner is still aggrieved of any such decision which the respondent authorities shall take, the petitioner would be at liberty to challenge the same along with the appointment of respondent no.7 before the District Collector by way of a duly

constituted appeal in accordance with the provisions of law.
