Versus

1. State of Chhattisgarh, Through: Collector, Surguja, Ambikapur, District Surguja, Chhattisgarh

2. Chief Executive Officer, Janpad Panchayat, Ambikapur, District Surguja, Chhattisgarh ----Respondents For Petitioner :

Mr. C.J.K. Rao, Advocate For State :

Mr. Syed Majid Ali, Dy. G.A.

Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order on Board 10/08/2018

1. The challenge in the present writ petition was to the advertisement (Annexure P/1) published in a local newspaper on 17.08.2016 for filling up of the post of Rojgar Sahayak for the different Gram Panchayats under Janpad Panchayat, Ambikapur. The petitioner had restricted his claim for Gram Panchayat, Podikala.

2. The present writ petition is of the year 2016. The advertisement (Annexure P/1) clearly stipulates that the appointment of Rojgar Sahayak was till 28.02.2017. The said contract period has definitely been lapsed by efflux of time with no interim relief by this Court to the petitioner.

3. Accordingly, this Court has no hesitation in holding that the present writ petition has rendered infructuous. However it is observed that the respondents, so far as if any vacancy is available or arises later on

then they would be at required to publish fresh advertisement for the purpose of fresh recruitment.

4. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed off. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge Ved
