1. This writ petition (criminal) has been preferred by the petitioner against the order of externment passed by learned District Magistrate, Jashpur on 07/12/2018.
2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the order of externment dated 07/12/2018 passed against the petitioner is
appealable under Section 9 of the Madhya Pradesh/Chattisgarh Rajya Suraksha Adhiniyam, 1990.
3. I have heard learned counsel for the parties, considered their submissions and have gone through the records with utmost circumspection.
4. Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to prefer an appeal within 15 days from today and if such an appeal is preferred by him, the appellate authority will decide and consider the appeal along with the application for delay within two months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
5. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition (criminal) stands disposed of. No cost(s).
