1. Since all the criminal appeals are arising out of Cr.No.160/2019, they are being considered and decided by this common order.
2. These appeals have been filed under Section 21 (4) of the National Investigation Agency Act, 2008 (henceforth 'the NIA Act'), as they are aggrieved by rejection of their prayer for grant of bail by the Special Judge, NIA Act & Sessions Judge, Bilaspur, in Special Case (NIA) No.06/2019.
3. The appellants have been arrested in connection with Crime No.160/2019, registered at Police Station Tumgaon, District Mahasamund (CG) for the offence punishable under Sections 489A, 489B, 489C, 489D & 420 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, accused Dinesh Banjara and Hanuman Dhritlahare contacted Kulwant Kaur and her husband on 19/08/2019 with a promise that if they pay Rs.1.00 lac to them, the amount will be doubled within a short time. Believing that, Kulwant Kaur and her husband paid Rs.1.00 lac to them. On 29/08/2019, the accused persons namely; Dinesh Banjara, Hanuman Dhritlahare, Jaikumar & Tiharu Koshley reached the
house of the informant in a Maruti Car and paid 80 currency notes each of Rs.2000 & Rs.500 denomination. The serial numbers of the notes were same in all the currency notes, therefore, informant Kulwant Kaur could immediately know that they are counterfeit. She divulged her suspicion to her husband, who was in the house, and sent him to the Police Station; and the accused persons were kept engaged in conversation. After sometime, the police reached to the house of the informant and arrested all the above four accused persons.

In the memorandum statement of Hanuman Dhritlahare, it was revealed to the police that the counterfeit notes were handed over by accused Narendra Mangeshkar @ Narendra Mohle. 6.
In course of investigation, the police has recovered the multi colored computer printer and other equipments through which the counterfeit currency notes were prepared. Certificate from the Currency Note Press, Dewas (M.P.) has been obtained to the effect that the seized currency notes are counterfeit. 7.
Learned counsel for the appellants would argue that the appellants are in detention since 29/08/2019 and the trial is likely to take some more time, therefore, considering the role of each of the appellant they are entitled to be released on bail. 8.
Per contra, learned counsel for the state would vehemently oppose the prayer made in the appeals.

Having considered the rival submissions and perusal of the diary, it appears four accused persons namely; Dinesh Banjara, Hanuman Dhritlahare, Jaikumar & Tiharu Koshley have been arrested on the spot when they were trying to circulate counterfeit currency notes, whereas accused Narendra Mangeshkar @ Narendra Mohle was the person who had supplied the currency notes to the other accused persons. The counterfeit currency notes
seized in the case are in whopping quantity, therefore, considering the seriousness of the offence the present does not appear to be a fit case for passing any order in favour of the appellants to release them on regular bail.

As an upshot, all the appeals, sans substratum, are liable to be and are hereby dismissed.
