Present MCC has been filed seeking extension of time for compliance of the order dated 08.04.2021, passed in WPS No. 1942/2021.

Learned counsel for the applicants submits that because of the effect of COVID-19 Pandemic and the lock-down situation that was prevailing, substantial progress could not be made by the Department for compliance of the order passed by this Court and given an extension of time the order shall be complied with in its letter and spirit.

On due consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case, the present MCC deserves to be and is accordingly allowed. The applicants are granted further period of 60 days time to ensure that the order passed by this Court is complied with in its letter and spirit.
