1. The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.272/2020 registered in Police Station Basna, District Mahasamund for offence under Sections 9, 51, 50 (B), 50 (A), 39 (1), (B) and 20 of the Wild Life Protection Act, 1972 and Section 34 of the IPC.

2. 3 accused persons have been arrested for being found in illegal possession of endangered wild life Pangolin valued at Rs.5 lakhs. Pangolin was being transported in an OMNI Van bearing registration No.CG-22K/1557 and the present applicant was on a motorcycle

escorting the OMNI Van to destination where Pangolin was to be sold.

3. Since co-accused Kirtilal Patel has already been released on bail in MCRC No.4382/2020, considering the role assigned to this applicant, this Court is inclined to release him on bail.

4. Accordingly, the application is allowed and the applicant is directed to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. He is directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
