1. The challenge in the present writ petition was to the order of transfer dated 15.05.2017, whereby the petitioner has been transferred from Durg to Dhamtari. The petitioner had an interim protection in his favour, which was in operation since 13.06.2017.

2. By virtue of the interim protection, the petitioner continues to discharge his duties at District Durg.

3. Considering the nature of dispute and efflux of time and the interim protection, which the petitioner enjoyed, this Court is of the opinion that

ends of justice would serve if the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent/State that they shall not act upon the impugned order, so far as the petitioner is concerned any further, however the right of the respondents stands reserved to pass a fresh order, in case administrative exigency, so demands.

4. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed off. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge Ved
